Returns & Exchanges
Timeframes
- Standard returns/exchanges: Must be requested within 7 days of delivery
- Damaged-on-arrival items: Must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order
Return Process
- Email orders@themodshop.co.nz with “RETURN” or “EXCHANGE” in the subject line. Please include your order number and the reason for return
- We’ll confirm your request and provide return instructions
- Return the item using a tracked and insured courier, ensuring it arrives in brand-new condition with original packaging intact
Conditions
- All sales are considered final – change-of-mind or wrongly ordered items are not eligible for return or refund
- Products must be unused, undamaged, and include all original packaging
- Wheels that have had tyres fitted are not eligible for return or exchange
- We only accept returns for items purchased directly from www.themodshop.co.nz
- Sale items and wheel nuts are excluded from returns or exchanges
Fitment & Compatibility
- Please double-check specifications before ordering
- We are not responsible for wheels that require additional parts such as hub rings, spacers, nuts, or bolts to fit your vehicle
- We are unable to match wheels to previous orders, including back-ordered, discontinued, or individual wheel purchases
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm compatibility before placing an order
Fees & Charges

Standard approved return/exchange | 20% restocking fee (based on purchase price) |
Damage to returned item/packaging | Additional 30% charge |
Order cancellation before dispatch | 10% processing fee |
These fees help cover non-refundable payment provider fees and order handling costs.
Refunds & Processing Times
- Once we receive and inspect your return (usually within 5–7 business days), we’ll contact you with the outcome
- If approved, your refund (minus applicable fees and the original shipping cost) will be returned to your original payment method
- Refunds can take 1–2 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider
Additional Notes
- Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted
- The Mod Shop reserves the right to decline or void returns and exchanges that do not meet these terms
