Return Policy

Any returns or exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the item(s). Items and packaging must be unused and in their original condition to be eligible for returns.

If your item(s) is damaged upon delivery, you must request an exchange within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Once your damaged product return is received and inspected, we will notify you if your return is accepted or declined. If your return is accepted, your exchange or refund will be processed.

Before sending the item back, please email orders@themodshop.co.nz with your order details and include "RETURN" or "EXCHANGE" in the subject line.

We must be notified of all returns or exchanges within 24 hours of receipt of your shipment. Packages sent without contacting us first will not be accepted.

We only accept returns and exchanges of items purchased from us. All sale items and wheel nuts are excluded from returns or exchanges.

Returns and exchanges of any products must meet the following guidelines to be granted a return or exchange:

 

  • Upon filing a return/exchange claim, please ensure that the item(s) and packaging are free of any damages and are in their original condition as received. Returns/exchanges for wheels will not be approved once tires have been fitted.
  • If wheels have been fitted with tires, they will not be granted a return, exchange, or refund. They are considered used items, and you own them.
  • We are not responsible for any wheels that may need hub rings, wheel spacers, wheel nuts, bolts, or any wheel accessories required to fit your vehicle. It is the buyer's responsibility to do their research before placing orders.
  • We are not responsible for matching wheels to previous wheel orders, including but not limited to wheels that are back-ordered, discontinued, or purchased as singles or pairs.
  • For customers wishing to return their products, a 20% restocking fee will be applied. Exchanges for correctly shipped products may be subject to a restocking fee, and the customer will be liable for shipping both ways.
  • For returns/exchanges of correctly shipped products, the customer is responsible for shipping them back at their expense, and the items must arrive in the same new condition with all original packaging. Any damages to the wheel(s) or products and/or packaging will incur a 30% charge on the purchased price.
  • Any order cancellations requested by the customer would incur a 10% charge of the purchase price. This fee is necessary to cover the processing costs and associated fees incurred by our payment gateways.

The return/exchange process may take up to 5 to 7 business days from the time your return has been approved. The Mod Shop reserves the right to void any returns and exchanges.
